I admit it did bother me seeing them at first- particularly at Upton Park but sooner or later we're going to have to accept that tourists who don't necessarily support us will want a souvenir of the time they went to London and watched a Premier League match. Maybe they will end-up supporting West Ham? Obviously not if they went this season but hopefully eventually we'll have a decent team.
Look at it this way, if you were rummaging around in your parent's place and came across the programme from the very first time you went to West Ham- wouldn't you be delighted? I guess these half and half scarves are the modern equivalent. Made to get chucked in a box and get rediscovered years from now.
In the long list of gripes about the club this comes in near the bottom. Get a fucking grip.

I saw a grown man wearing one at the Sawnsea match. In the stadium. I laughed at him as he walked past. I am surprised I wasn't dealt with by the stewards and turfed out.

Will be looking out to see if there is a West Ham / Spurs one in a couple of weeks as that seems particularly wrong.
Think they started for European finals and the like which is almost acceptable as a souvenir and have leached into league matches for tourists and Part Time Percy's

I hate them but did too around Green Street. They do stand out more now where the blokes stand in the Olympic Park and the fact that there is a lack of other merchandise being sold.
Ps. Did buy one once I admit for my daughter as a souvenir at one of the Europa League games last season - they seemed acceptable to me but another Premier League side .... honestly!???

Funnily enough, I haven't seen 1 since the move. Used to seee the all the time before. I can't stand them but as has been said, they're not for me and like it or not, football now ain't what it was.
